Operating Licences

Post anything to do with operating licences, whether it be vehicle allowances, outstations or operating bases.

M&D would like to register the following operating base
Lladudno Junction
LL31 9RU
formerly arriva.
this will be part of our company branched off M&D, W&D, Wales and District.

Wrexham Transport would like to add an outstation of:

Oswestry Depot, Whittington Road, Oswestry, SY10 1HZ.

Also can we have our vehicle allowance increased to 80.

No problems with those, both depot additions and Wrexham Transport's vehicle allowance increase granted.

LMT Merseyside have been given an operating licence of 200 pending new vehicle orders. LMT Merseyside will also be shortly moving into Skelmersdale depot on Neverstitch Road.

LMT Merseyside are moving into Aintree depot (L31 8BX), which will be used as a storage and maintenance facility for LMT Merseyside.

M&D would like to register springfield coaches' depot, WA4 6TR, as a storage facility

Vannin Link would like to register the following outstations:

- Unit 2, Balthane Industrial Estate, Ballasalla
- Athol Street depot, Peel

Approved DMN.

Another outstation for Vannin Link:

- Princess Road, Ramsey

Approved DMN.

Vannin Links final outstation if possible:

- Maine Road, Port Erin

LMT Merseyside (inclusive of new company LMT Manchester) would like a vehicle operation licence increase to 300.

Also, Liverpool Metropolitan Transport Ltd (parent company of LMT Merseyside) request the acquisition of the following depots for new company LMT Manchester:

Manchester (MA) - St Andrew's Street, M1 2AH
Winsford (WD) - Greeba Road, M23 ???

Due to high vehicle purchases last night, Liver Travel would like to request for a license increase to 40.

Wrexham Transport wishes its vehicle allowance to be increased to 120.

Both operating licence increases have been granted.

Vannin Link/Northern Link would like to register the first 2 depots for Northern Link operation prior to launch on Monday:

- Burton Road Depot, Marton, Blackpool
- Frenchwood depot, Preston

We would like to following vehicle allowances as well:

Vannin Link 70 vehicles
Northern Link 60 vehicles

LMT Merseyside would like to register the former Carnegie Road depot (also on Green Lane) for use as a maintenance facility. The depot will be known as Carnegie Road with the abbreviation CR.

Northern Link would like our fleet allowance raised up to 100

Liver Travel would like their fleet allowance increased to 75.

We would also like to register a depot on

Rigby Road, Blackpool.

All of the above are approved.

LMT would like to register Banks Circus on the Isle of Man for their pending operation to commence upon delivery of 12 Wright StreetLite vehicles.
