LMT Orders for Wrightbus

Liverpool Metropolitan Transport would like to place an order for 52 vehicles from Wrightbus. The payment for these vehicles will be provided partly by a grant from the local councils where the vehicles will be operated as part of a public transport improvement scheme, and the remainder will be paid in installments by LMT.

12 Wright StreetLite 10.8M

These vehicles will benefit Green Lane (22 vehicles), Gillmoss (6 vehicles), Manchester (16 vehicles) and Winsford (8 vehicles) depots. We would like these vehicles to be delivered with Mobitec destination displays and Lazzerini Pratico seats.

We plan to order further vehicles of these types next year when further modernisation will take place across the parent company Liverpool Metropolitan Transport's Merseyside and Manchester divisions.

M&D would like to order 60 Volvo B7RLE 12.5m Wright Eclipse Urban vehicles. with full rear dest, dual purpose esteban civic seats

Liverpool Metropolitan Transport would like to further their order of Wright StreetLite vehicles for another 12 vehicles for delivery no later than January 2012.

These vehicles will be the same spec as the earlier vehicles ordered, with Mobitec destination displays and Lazzerini Pratico seats. This order will be jointly funded by Liverpool Council and LMT Merseyside, as well as a loyalty bonus from Wrightbus.

LMT Merseyside would like to order a further 18 VDL SB200/Wright Pulsar 2 vehicles for routes 20/21, in place of our cancelled order for Wright Eclipse 2 vehicles. The order for Wright Eclipse 2 vehicles will be taken up next year, however the number of ordered vehicles will be reduced.

I would like to place an order for a further 12 Wright StreetLite 10.8M vehicles for Isle of Man services, same usual specification however for this batch we would like the highest engine rating to make sure the vehicles are capable of the different terrain.

LMT would like to order a further 51 VDL SB200CS (Wright Pulsar 2)s for it's Merseyside and Manchester divisions to modernise the fleet and also increase standardisation across the fleet. Ideally delivery should commence around December time, ending in late January.

Same specification, Lazzerini Pratico and Mobitec destination displays. The allocations for this order are as follows:

I'd like to order a further 14 Wright Eclipse 2s for LMT North Western's Skelmersdale garage, this is for a new partnership on route 47/48A with Liver Travel.

LMT North Western have decided to change their order for double deckers to short wheelbase Volvo B9TL (Wright Eclipse Gemini 2)s, we would still like 48 vehicles and for them to be delivered as soon as possible.

We would like Mobitec destination displays and dual purpose seats if possible.

In preparation for commencing services for our new division, LMT would like to place an order for 67 tri-axle Volvo B9TL (Wright Eclipse Gemini 2)s, in two batches of 20, one batch of 17, and one batch of 10.

These vehicles will be funded by the DoTT&S (Ireland) and LMT. Payments will commence upon delivery of the first vehicles - preferred delivery dates for the batches are as follows:

Batch 1 (20 vehicles) - January 2012
Batch 2 (20 vehicles) - March 2012
Batch 3 (10 vehicles) - April 2012
Batch 4 (17 vehicles) - May 2012

The primary spec for these vehicles should be dual purpose seats, with Mobitec destination displays, although 18 of these vehicles should be fitted with tables, luggage racks and wi-fi for long distance routes planned.

Can i ask that you start to pay off the vehicles immediately? due to the large nature of the order, at least half will need paying off prior to delivery. This is due to previous cases of non-payment by numerous companies when orders of this size have been placed.

I can do yes, I'll add an extra £100,000 a week onto my order pay-off from this week onwards.

LMT would like to extend their Pulsar 2 order from 51 to 81. This is to supply more suitable single-deck vehicles for LMT Éire's Cork depot, delivery would be preferred in May 2012.

I will continue to pay instalments in my payments of £400,000. When company profits increase, I will increase this to £500,000 a week (£2M a month).

LMT would like to order 18 Volvo B7RLE (Wright Eclipse 2) vehicles for route 26/27. Delivery would be preferred in around a month's time when the new North Western timetable is brought into effect.

Destination sets are to be Mobitecs and the seats are to be Lazzerini Praticos.

LMT would like to bring forward 24 Wright Pulsar 2s from March to January, and also add an extra 24 StreetLites to the current order. These vehicles will all be for services around Huyton.

LMT would still like the extra 24 StreetLites, however these will be for services in Ireland due to a change in plans, the current 12 StreetLites due for delivery in a few weeks will be used for Huyton services instead.

LMT would like to add an extra 18 Volvo B7RLE (Wright Eclipse 2)s to their current order, delivery of these vehicles ideally would be around late March/early April in time for the 14 group of routes switching from Green Lane to Gillmoss, with a slight PVR increase.

These vehicles like all other orders should be fitted with Mobitec destination displays and Lazzerini Pratico seats. Also, these buses should come with branding for routes 14/14A.

Registration requests for these vehicles will be posted soon. Our installments for this order will now be increased to £450,000 a week, and should be fully paid off by 29/07/12 (LMT covering £15.6M of the order), with £2.1M already paid off, leaving £13.5M to pay. Again, if profits increase, increased payments of £500,000 a week will be made up to this date.

LMT would like to extend their order of Volvo B7RLEs from 36 to 54. These vehicles would be ideally delivered in the second or third week of March.

These vehicles are for Irish services, and should be delivered to the company's Irish specifications.

Payments will continue for an extra 6 weeks to cover this extension to our 2012 order.

LMT would like to extend this order again, however delivery can be be made later in the year if necessary. We would like to add the following buses to this order:

68x Volvo B9TL (Wright Eclipse Gemini 2)s for services around Dublin, these are to be long wheelbase (not triaxle). Preferred delivery date is as soon as possible as they are needed sooner.
39x MAN A22 (Wright Meridian)s for services around Dublin and Cork. A batch of 13 vehicles will be trialled at each depot, if successful more of this type will be ordered in the future. Preferred delivery date is May 2012.
36x Volvo B7RLE (Wright Eclipse 2)s for services around Dublin. Preferred delivery date is May-June 2012.

As profits are due to increase, payments for these vehicles will soon increase to £600,000 a week and continue until week ending December 16 2012.
