In response to suggestions from memebers, starting W/C 5th December, there will be a tax for all companies who operate more than 20 operational vehicles. You will have to pay £50 per operational vehicle in your fleet per week. This is a tax to pay on every vehicle that is actively used in service at least 1 day in the week. This tax is to help simulate the maintenence costs of a vehicle in real life, and while not realistic, its a start in helping the game to become more realistic. Any vehicles that arent used in service for more than 1 full day during the week will not incur the tax. For example, if you had a fleet of 20 vehicles, and 10 of which were operational, you will have to pay £500 for the whole week. This isn't alot of money but it also helps companies to realise the importance of using your vehicles effectively! In time, this tax will become more developed, in that you'll have to pay more for certain types of vehicles etc, but this wont be introduced for a while yet. In the next used vehicle list update, it will include a brand new vehicle rentals section, aimed at helping companies with a short term vehicle shortage.
