Hiya
Hi everyone - I can't wait to get started.
Can I just ask (if anyone reads this section of the forums) how long it took you to get fully into the game, out of interest?
I am an enthusiast, but am quite young and inexperienced, so I have no idea about most of the workings of bus companies.
But I'm slowly learning the names for all the different bus models, and the way in which contracts are awarded, and so on, so yep, looking forwards to being part of the inter-company crew here!

Hi Valandil,
When I started, although I knew a good amount about the buses I didn't know much about company operations but it didn't take me long to get into the game. I had a company up and running in just a couple of days.

Re: Attention Guests!
I took part in the previous game, and I got into the idea of that very soon. If you ever need any help at all Valandil, feel free to ask and we'll do our very best to help you.
I hope that you enjoy the game.

Re: Attention Guests!
Hi mate
good to hear from you.
in reality, it takes no more than an hour to set a company up, and get yourself started.
it can take up to a week to become fully accustomed with the game due to weekly happenings such as vehicle auctions, relevant company documents being submitted for checking etc.
of course as it seems you have done, looking through the forum before hand can help you understand how everything works and so on, but of course if you require any assistance or have any questions, feel free to post here.
also, the more the merrier, invite your friends, anyone can join and anyone will be made to feel most welcome!
looks forward to seeing you on the game soon
cheers

Great stuff!
I have to be honest - I'm registering with three separate sites at the moment
It would be good to end up at this one though, because it seems like it's at about the right level of activity: with the other two, one is dead, and the other one is just madness, with literally hundreds of messages every month!

Re: Attention Guests!
yeah, things are alot more personal here, companies can be dealt with alot more easily, and its a much more informal environment.
i know the feeling of going onto packed games, you just get left behind within all the other existing operators.
This game is expanding all the time, and were very flexible with how things work and where you operate, you could operate as far afield as south wales, the Isle of Man, Manchester, possibly even blackpool aswell!!

Hey that's cool - regardless of what happens on online games, I currently operate from 5 depots.
The largest of these is down in Coventry, where I have 48 of those services.
Now that one really is a logistical challenge! - but I'm getting there.
But the other 4 depots are all in the North West, with 2 in different parts of Warrington, 1 in Altrincham, and 1 in Knutsford.
I'm working on a Northwich depot too (and in fact had one completely planned out in the past, but later realised that the plans were unfeasible).
Btw, do you guys know how long it usually takes for an account to be approved?
Though actually, I'm going on holiday on Saturday, so I guess it doesn't matter anyway

Re: Attention Guests!
im online most of the night after school, so it normally takes less than 10 minutes!
of course when you join the game youll have to see who operates where so you have an idea where you may be best starting out

Ah cool!
I sent a request to register a couple of days ago, and have had the automated confirmation of username + password, but not the official activation: I wonder whether you might be able to chase it up for me? =)
Sad I know, but I'm really looking forwards to reading the game rules document

Am I able to register a existing company?
Ok thanks, I have sent a request to join. Am I able to register a company I already own which has a decent amount of vehicles or make a new one for this forum?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Attention Guests!
You'll have to start a new one here unfortunately, but it's relatively simple and myself and K853 will do our best to help you get started.

Hi Mark, welcome!
You can join the game by signing up and then filling in a company registration form in the "Game" section. If you have any more questions feel free to ask them.

You're welcome!
I have now activated your account.
If you could fill the application form in here and then post it into the thread once you've done that, we can go from there.
