5 new Tempo's are planned for route 7 (Huyton-Liverpool) in the new year. However, it looks very unlikely the order will be allowed.

Also, watch out for some new Cross-City services in the new year, as well as frequency increases.

I haven't seen any other operator be asked to do this...

All together, it takes 4 days for the vehicles to be completed.

Day 1 is Centre exit removed and electrics.
Day 2 is paneling over the old exit and a new window fitted.
Day 3 is interior, ramp and wheelchair bay.
Day 4 is repaint and LED's.

All together, materials come together at £3000 per bus.

All drivers will be type-trained on these vehicles before their entry to service on January 1st! We plan to order 5 more Volvo's to the same spec very soon, for our holiday services!

Liver Travel sign an agreement with LMT

Liver Travel have officially signed an agreement with LMT. This agreement means that the two companies, two of the largest companies in the Merseyside area, means that the passengers will come first.

There will be more Quality Bus Partnerships, which means both companies tickets will be able to be used on each others buses.

Services will be more frequent, giving the passenger the best, and quickest travelling experience.

All services will generally be improved, to give the passenger piece of mind that their service WILL turn up and it WILL be on time.

Customer service will be even better then it is now. All drivers will have to go through a customer service course. We believe some of out competitors customer service is very poor indeed.

Two routes currently have QBP's, Liver Travel and LMT's 7 (Huyton-Liverpool) and Liver Travel's X20 and LMT's 6 (Liverpool-Warrington.)

Liver Travel have ordered 5 Wright Gemini's for new Holiday Route's. After many hours of consideration and mapping out our options, these are the routes which will operate as of the February Half Term:

Liverpool Lime Street - Pontin's Holiday Park Southport
Liverpool Lime Street - Pontin's Holiday Park Prestatyn
Liverpool Lime Street - Presthaven Sands, on the outskirts of Rhyl
Liverpool Lime Street - Marton Mere, on the outskirts of Blackpool.
Liverpool Lime Street - Cala Gran, in Fleetwood.

As well as transporting the passengers to their destination, the drivers will stay on at the Holiday Park's courtesy of the operator's and will also take their passengers on day trips, twice on every holiday!

Departures from both the Holiday Camps and Lime Street will be on Monday, Friday and Saturday.

The buses will return to our Huyton depot on both Friday and Saturday evenings, to be extensively cleaned before transporting passengers once more!

The costs are £7:50 per Adult and £5:00 per Child! Under 3's travel free! To ensure you get a seat, make sure you book in advance!

Two drivers are on every journey, to help with luggage loading. The second driver takes the helm on the Wales services at Chester.

We hope you enjoy this service!

Our new Volvo B9TL's entered service today on route 34! Passengers filled out evaluation forms saying that the Buses were 'the most luxurious they have ever been on'! They performed without a flaw!

These Volvo's entering service has displaced 3 Cadet's and 2 E200's to operate route 7, displacing Marshall Darts for a frequency increase on the 68.

On another note, Liver Travel will soon be operating routes 8, 9, 10B and 10C in partnership with LMT.

Attached is this weeks Accounts and Company Profile.

A radical change will soon come into place for our Huyton Links services! Some nearly-new buses will soon appear on these routes, whilst our S reg Dart's will be placed for sale! These vehicles will be:

4 ADL Enviro 200's, two 60 plate examples and two 11 plate examples. These will operate along side the two examples new to the company.

4 Optare Solo M710SE's. These will operate on the quieters services, as well as the ones which negociate tight roads.

Also watch out for a radical improvement on our Liverpool Open Top Tour, as well as the Tour Guide on every bus a frequency increase will be put into place and LF buses will be used!

Attached is this weeks accounts.

Some more changes are set to take place in the Liver Travel Huyton fleet.

Volvo B6 vehicles and Dennis Dart vehicles to replace Marshall Dart vehicles. The Volvo's and Dart's have had a thorough refurbishment, including

Fitment of Hanover LED equipment
Re-trim into Liver Travel Moquette
New flooring
Windows and panels re-sealed, to prevent rattling.
Re-paint into Liver Travel livery.

These vehicles will gradually enter service on routes 11 and 68, as well as a whole new route which will be announced shortly.

All the Marshall Dart vehicles have been placed for sale, V625, 7, 8, 9, 30, 1 & 34 have been sold to Northern Link. T619, 20, 21 & V624 have been sold to Cheshire Linx.

Dennis Dart's S874-9SNB have been sold to Stoke & District.

Vehicles L1 VER (S872 SNB), S873 SNB, T618 PNC & T623 PNC have been preserved by the company, L1 VER and T618 PNC in Liver Travel condition and S873 SNB & T623 PNC in MTL condition.

These vehicles will make they're debut into the Preservation scene shortly, possibly at the Northern Link Open Day although it is likely other events will come up at short-notice.
